Not receiving game invites

For some reason I am not receiving all my game invites. I occasionally get ones but not all of them. I get message notifications, friends signing on etc but not game invites.

For a while now I haven't been able to recieve game invites from anyone. I play destiny most of the time. I have tried everything you can imagine. Check notification settings, removed account/added account. Restart console bumping holding power button, let sit
unpluged for hours, reset router/modem, made sure Xbox is plugged into the wall, reset MAC. Ive tried just about everything's unless someone else has any ideas. I recieve every other invite and all notification except game invites. Does any one have a new
clue or is it time to just get a new Xbox one. I do have one of the originals not the S version.

Do the notifications not work for specific players, or is it at random?

If you haven't already, try removing your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox One, power cycle your Xbox One (hold power button for 8-10 seconds), and then add it back. Let us know how it goes

 

I get occasional invites but a majority dont cone through so just random.

I completely factory reset the box the other days still have the same issue.

Can you share your detailed network statistics under network settings so that we can if there might be an issue with your network connection?

Thanks for that Your network settings look good, so that shouldn't be an issue. When you factory reset your Xbox One, did you remove all games and apps or did you select the option to keep them installed?

 

I completely reset it and cleared all the games and apps on the machine

Are you possibly able to test your Xbox One on a different network to see if there's any change?

 

No as I only have on broadband connection so cant change the network

 

Sounds like a NAT type issue or an ISP instability problem. What is your NAT type at the moment? If it's strict or moderate you could experience problems and may want to force a new IP address.

Even if your NAT type is saying open I would still be inclined to reset your router and force a new IP address. To do this simply unplug all wires from the back of your router and wait for 5 minutes (must be 5 minutes) then plug everything back in again.

Hopefully that will sort it. If not try changing your DNS IPv4 & IPv6 addresses. Use

Google's public DNS if you like.
