Not receiving game invites

Haven’t been able to receive game invites for at least 5 days and it’s got to the point where I’ve cancelled my gold and game pass since the service I’m paying for isn’t working. I’ve tried everything including factory resetting and so has my friend and still nothing so this needs to get sorted

Sounds like a NAT type issue or an ISP instability problem. What is your NAT type at the moment? If it's strict or moderate you could experience problems and may want to force a new IP address.

Even if your NAT type is saying open I would still be inclined to reset your router and force a new IP address. To do this simply unplug all wires from the back of your router and wait for 5 minutes (must be 5 minutes) then plug everything back in again.

Hopefully that will sort it. If not try changing your DNS IPv4 & IPv6 addresses. Use

Google's public DNS if you like.

Do the notifications not work for specific players, or is it at random?

If you haven't already, try removing your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox One, power cycle your Xbox One (hold power button for 8-10 seconds), and then add it back. Let us know how it goes
