On June 19 I received the following e-mail.

I've logged several times already and even tried to go to the Xbox store to download; however, it is not possible to get it for free.

Please provide assistance.

I bought and redeemed a Xbox live 12 months during the promotion and have been using my Xbox One since launch, when are the codes for the Xbox One downloadable version of Ryse: Son of Rome, and Killer

I have the same issue, and I've been on chat with Microsoft support for a while now. They're telling me that it was an acknowledgement email and that we're not actually entitled to those games.

I know that the wording says otherwise, and that's basically what I've been arguing with them about for the last couple of hours but they aren't changing their stance.

 

me too, i was arguing with a MS rep on this too. the rep was telling me if the 'system' says i m entitled to, then i ll get the code without saying when.. then when on to suggest that my xbox live renewed cycle is in july hence i probably not entitled since
the offer ended in june, thats when i got *** off. i dug my email clear stating that i have renewed the subscription within June and my card was charged in June and the offer cannot be so stupid to only allow customers whose subscription cycles end between
april and june to be taken up..

the rep reluctantly agreed with me.

i then showed the rep a link to this forums on some other guys with the same problem. S/he suggested me to make a post and 'hopefully someone form another team' can help since s/he was unable to help, i mean , so what is point of having this rep for in
the first place then???

this is the worst customer service ever... after being a loyal gold subscriber for 7 years , this is what i get, i wouldnt hv renewed it early if it wasnt for the offer to be honest
