Not reading disc when launching from dashboard (NXOE)

Since updating to NXOE, when I select a game from the dashboard, I get the error about "if you own this game, please insert" or whatever. The game is already in. I have to eject/reinsert, then it works. Anybody else having this issue with NXOE?

Game Pass Glitch blocking access to my game.

Try launching the game when you are not signed in from the disc you have.

NEW DASHBOARD, PLAY INSTALLED GAME... NOT FROM DISC

The old dashboard before install gave the option to hit "Y" on the game in the "My Xbox" category. Once that was done the window would have the HD Icon in the upper right, and the ability to select "Play Game". If the game wasnt installed the icon would
be a disc... and it would offer the option to install it. Once selected and scrolling through menus the disc would NOT spin while scrolling through menus after verifying and launching the game on the OLD dashboard. Now after launching the game from the new
menu using "X" to "Launch Game" while I am scrolling through the menus "in the game" the eye is jerking around inside the xbox every time I highlight "in game" menus. That tells me its not playing the installaition. Its reading from the disc when highlighting
menu options, therefore not playing the install. I get it will verify the game at the beginning, but prior to this new install beyond verifying the game disc it would never spin it or read from it WHILE PLAYING. I appreciate your help. But its NOT playing
the "install". Its playing from the disc. Thank you for trying to help, I dont understand why i have an update for kinect which I will never buy nor ever use but yet am forced to have a dashboard designed for it and relearn again all for the sake of what?
Is there or isnt there an option on the new dashboard to "Install Game" or "Play Installed Game"?

Hi FinnGiant,

are you getting any messages, is the game at least showing as inserted on the dashboard?

Is the issue purely reading the disc, or is it only when trying to launch the game?

You dont receive a update to remove the dashboard

The nxoe is a newer build thenthe old dashboard

If you want to remove the nxoe you need to wait till you are removed from the beta then factory reset your console

I've had the game since day of release, and mine just started doing this as well. I haven't been able to get it to read no matter what. Seems like it just started happening after the last game update.

The dashboard recognizes the game as BOps2, but when launching from the dashboard, the screen goes black, disc whirls a couple of times and then nothing, have to reboot the Xbox.

If I launch it from My Games, it starts to launch, then gives the disc unreadable error. I've tried installing it, but I get the same error about 30%, with the internet connected, and without it connected as well.

So, what to do? It worked fine for about a month, never left the Xbox, and after the update, it won't read the disc fully anymore? Anybody have any other suggestions other than buying another copy? This sucks.

The nxoe beta still has the bc but thats not the main focus since nxoe is the new dashboard
