    Not reading disc error...was told could be an issue with the preview program?


    My xbox one is not reading discs. I get an error message saying "please make sure this is an xbox one game disc, blu-ray disc..." I spent a hour on the phone with xbox and they just referred me here after a bunch of trouble shooting. They said it could have
    something to do with a problem with the preview program. Didn't make much sense to me but here I am doing what they said. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    STRANGE Unreadable Disc Whats the problem? :S

    Does any other game work? If not it could be that it's a disc drive error with reading discs...

    strange things happening

    Update to this issue for anyone Reading!

    A Hard Reset will fix the Error x021 or what ever it was! That seems to be occurring for preview members with the latest update.

    Seems that cache data may be conflicting so an empty cache is whats needed.

    I will post this in preview update forum.

    If you are part of the preview program you are able to access it.

    Not always.Sometimes preview members have issues getting onto the preview forums.

    As there hasn't been an update for quite a while I highly doubt the preview is the reason why your console wont read games.

    Have had this myself 5 times now & it's down to a fault with the disc drive.It'll read Blu-ray discs but not game discs.You will need to send it in for repair.

    Not always.Sometimes preview members have issues getting onto the preview forums.

    You knew the risk when signing up that is of course you read the agreement and the issues that could arise from joining a preview program.
