    and never the update preview. I never enrolled my current console, the Series X in the program so why do I have the new hub feature? Apparently this new feature is exclusive to the insiders program but I have it as do some other users who aren't in the program.

    I contacted Microsoft/Xbox support and the employee kept insisting that this console was enrolled in the insiders program and that I had joined the preview update despite that not being the case. I reiterated that at least twice but they ignored it completely and then got rude because I reiterated it and ended the chat.

    I don't like this new "feature" and I certainly didn't sign up for the update preview let alone enroll this console.

    So what gives

    Are you part of the Xbox Insiders? May be one of the causes of the problem, I haven't received any updates in recent days, and I'm not part of the Insiders anymore

    a friend of mine asked if i was in the insider program beta and i said yes. Then he told me to leave the Minecraft beta program within the insider program and since then i’ve had no issues at all with minecraft. To check you go to the insider program app on
    your Xbox One and then to to insider content and then click on Minecraft then leave the Minecraft beta. I hope this helps you out because i spent forever trying to figure out this problem.

    I am part of the insider program and the first thing I do when turning on the my xbox, is to check for an update. It has become a habit and I never get forced updates anymore.

    OK Since that might be a case factory reset the console and report it to the insider program reddit to look into please

    I plan to report it to the Insider Program when I get home.

    Took a look at that subreddit. Looks useless as there are posts from 6+ months ago that still havent been answered.

    Resetting my console is a waste of time. Whether a Soft or Hard reset. Since I am part of the Insider Program, as soon as my console reboots after the reset it will turn around and reinstall the update we just got rid of by resetting the console. Right back
    to square one.

    The simplest solution is probally to leave the Insider Program. Yet what happens if I leave Insider Program, reset console and still have the same issue? Years of effort in Insider Program gone to waste. Not worth it.

    Custom gamerpics haven't been released to everyone yet on the console as far as I know,it's still only insider program members.

    You can use the beta xbox app on a windows 10 device if you have one.
