    Not opening the tray.

    This is happening on my xbox I just hold firm above my disc tray this even works on my original xbox ( 2001 ) which has the same problem

    Not opening the tray.

    Hi,

    My xbox has 2 years almost 3 years and this problem only showed up in the past 3 months. When i press to open the tray it doesn't open, i have to wait a while or even turning off the xbox and wait then it opens.

    What may be the problem ?

    You don't turn it off at night? Sometimes other wireless devices in the home can interfere with the controller sensor, anything new nearby?...:)

    Highly possible that it could have slipped through the cracks. However it may be a bit late to do anything now :(

    Same, they always have a seal when they are returned from an official repairs centre. At least in my experience.

    I live alone and no one has had my Xbox but me. I was wondering the same thing because I feel like they would have pretty good procedures at Microsoft. I guess it may have slipped through the cracks. I can't think of any other reason.
