    Hello there, i have 3 consoles, 4 controllers one is elite, i have 4 chat headsets and none of them work on any controller on any of the consoles, i have been experiencing this since just after the launch of the original xbox one, the part mic circle doesnt
    move at all and i majority of the time cant hear anyone at all, and the headsets are like this from new, i baught a new one today just to see if it works, it doesn't. Please can any of you help me on this? I cant talk to my friends unless im wearing a full
    stereo headset. Im in the preview program too, any help would be great, kind regards John

    Headset advice

    My kids have 4 wireless Xbox one controllers. We have 2 Turtle Beach X50 chat headsets and today I have also bought a Stealth SX-02 headset. The Turtle Beach ones worked initially but now do not work with any controllers (they do work when plugged into another
    device such as an iPad). The brand new Stealth headset does not work. Why do the headsets not work with any of the 4 controllers? Are we missing something in the settings? Please help! The controllers have new batteries

    Wireless headset problems help!!!! Please!!

    My xbox 360 wireless headset will only work if I have the chat pad plugged into my wireless controller as soon as I remove the chat pad the headset changes sync to channel 2 and will not even cycle back to channel 1 it just goes to 2 3 and 4 if chat pad
    is connected headset works normally

    Xbox One S - Microphone Not Working

    Update Y'all

    Thank you for the support.

    I had some older black controllers I was using and did go through updating them and still nothing when using the 3.5mm headset(s).

    I went to gamestop and got the original xbox chat headset - the one with the little adapter that plugs into the bottom of the controller and NOT the 3.5mm one.

    THIS ONE WORKS!

    I tried with the 3.5mm headset on the same controller - no dice. No mic on the 3.5mm works but this chat headset does work. This includes any of the 4 controllers I have, or 3 headsets I tried.

    I am not sure if I want to send this into Microsoft at this point or just go with it.

    Now I am going in and downloading all the games/apps again because I tried wiping the unit and starting over this morning and it still didn't work.

    Now my son and I can chat so at least its something.

    The mic that came with the Xbox one works. My adapter chat button makes the game volume higher. Is it suppose to be like that?

    Did i make the right choice when buying a new console?

    to answer the issue with chat and your new and/or old headset.

    1.plug your headset into the controller

    2.go to settings and select your controller

    3.select update, [it may say there are no updates but go ahead click update]

    4.after the update your chat should work with the connected headset

    Microphones on both of my headsets not working since this week's update

    I can't hear anybody through my TB XO One headset, but they can hear me. Game chat is fine, but in party chat it doesn't work. It shows me speaking when I speak, and my friends tell me they can hear me, and if I unplug the headset, I can hear people speaking
    through the TV speakers.

    The fact that game chat still works proves that it's Microsoft's software, not my headset, adapter, Xbox or controller.
