    Hello, I have a problem with redeeming the new minecraft cape because when i try so, it always says "You aren't old enough" despite me being WAY older then 7 years old(i don't know if you have to be older or i don't know the exact age). I don't know how to fix this because i searched everywhere to see if anyone has the same problem but i can't find anything. I also tried reading all the documents to see if it's stating anything about age and i also couldn't find anything there. Can someone please help me?

    Adult accounts are not based on the setting but based on the legal age of the user for the country in which you live, so in the US you must be 18yr old. The other condition is that your account is not a child account in a family account, no mater your age
    child account will always be considered being under age. If you change your birthdate on your account this does not age your account so you can not cheat the system.

    Only accounts that are registered as 18+ of age (21+ in some regions) are considered as adult accounts and can act independently. In your case that is a child account and your parental account should give permission for everything .

    vimatlan33, if it shows you that message when trying to redeem, it only means that your account is a minor or child and as they are layers granted through TikTok and Twitch these have the age restrictions of this platform, so if your Microsoft account is a minor it will indicate that you cannot redeem them.

    Only you as a user or your parents can change the privacy settings of an account.

    In case yours is a minor account, it will not allow you to make any changes to the settings from your account, you will need to have an adult include your account in a family group from the link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-onli... and then that adult can make all the changes.

    Note When you grant applications permissions on a limited console, they are saved only on that console. If you use multiple consoles, make sure you grant permissions to your applications on all of them.

    Sounds like the link with your EA account is set to a young age.

    If you are able to play Forza online, then you have to check what DOB is on the EA account.

    EA has there own server Rules when it comes to how old you have to be to play online.
