    Randver While I can certainly see it from your point of view, I don't necessarily think it has to be better than the competition. Its still is a stand out games platform. I seriously look at ryse and I think "WOW". If this is the beginning, what are we going
    to be in for. And I will admit that when I first heard about the X1, I was only looking for a games console. But after using it and the features that it offers I have come to realize that it is so much more than that. And just like I say wow when i look at
    Ryse and think this is just the beginning, I also look at all those other things and think, after how far they took the 360, How far will they go with this? I truly believe that everything that is in the X1 and everything that comes with it will be integral
    to that experience. Everyone seems to mistrust microsoft and their direction.Even though they gave us one of the greatest consoles ever to have been. They put into place things that no one ever thought of and have now become standard in gaming. I don't know
    about anyone else and its only my opinion but, I'm willing to have a little faith.

    Well to add to your faith, I personally do not believe the current price is killing it. Slowing sales down, perhaps. But exclusives like Titanfall WILL sell it, at its current price-tag and in its current configuration. No question about it!

    Albeit, I do think changes will be made. No one knows for sure to what degree. Discless down the road? Yes, I think that will happen (over time - don't really know when), but I believe that is part of their vision. Kinectless? Sales will directly decide that...well
    and devs too.

    IS this Blu-ray 3D?? because that is the only way I could defend EVEN having it, I have a perfectly good Sony Blu-Ray an it plays all my movies on USB + it has its own Netflix, why would I want a BLU-RAY on my Xbox One?? I would rather have a digital Cable
    HD Box OR a better PVR\Hauppage.

    [/quote]Meh, maybe see a slight spike when Titanfall releases but it's not an X1 exclusive and no single player so I think people's expectations might be a bit high as far as being a system seller.

    We'll talk again in six weeks, and before anyone is mislead by your comment. Titanfall is not coming to Playstation. Also, it won't look the same or play the same on the 360.

    Mark my word. It will be system seller for console gamers or those on the fence. Not much sense! ;) Many of my friends who still only have a 360, will be switching over.

    If you feel you have to report me then be my guest. Is all I know is that you don't own an X1 and I have never seen you say anything positive about it. Anyway besides all that. My whole point if this thread was that it seams like an odd choice to take out
    the blu ray drive given it's supposed to be an all in one device. To me that would defeat the purpose of all in one.

    I don't think it'll be complaints that cause Microsoft to move another direction ( if they choose to) but rather an understanding of what's going to appeal to people looking to buy the console.

    All the multi-media stuff the One can do I have other tech in my house ( 11 alone for Netflix, Hulu, etc ) that do it better because it's what they are designed to do and significantly cheaper. The only thing the One can do that those items can't is play One
    exclusive games and that's why I own the system. I think a lot of people fall into this category.

    You made a comment about it being boring if the One was just a gaming console but the reality of it is...it is a gaming console. It's great if it can do other things but it needs to do what only it can do better than anyone else.
