    Not much sense!

Mate I live in Australia. Everything here is way more expensive here then anywhere. I've seen games in retailers for up to $110. The console itself cost me $600! And surprisingly this has been one of Microsofts strongest markets. Even with it being that
price. I think Microsoft is in a strong position. They have a very inter rated machine capable of appealing to all sorts of people. Pulling it apart would be the worst thing they could do in my opinion.

    :)

common sense. An advert does not use much data. Certainly less than 5mb

My prediction, which is as good as anyone else's and could change lol. They're going to drop the blu-ray drive and lower the price, but keep Kinect (as least for now). If they do that, they'll need to drop the cost of digital games (IMO). This would also
pretty much end third-party game rentals.

I sort of think MS initiates these rumors - as trial balloons, to see how the gaming community responds to these proposals.

When you leave these forums and go to other gaming forums that aren't filled with fanboys on both sides or trolls you see a very different point of view.

Many PC gamers that also own consoles haven't purchased a system yet, gamers that have been through a half dozen or so console launches also haven't purchased systems. They know the routine, no games and bugs/glitches that need to get worked out.

These people don't have any company loyalty, most are very tech savy and they'll be purchasing a console that allows them to do one thing only and that's play games. When the consoles have a game library of true next gen games that's when you'll see the next
group of people buying consoles. Microsoft needs to put themselves in a position to appeal to that group.

How they go about doing that is anyone's guess but some of the people who bought a "all in one" One may very well be disappointed the direction it turns. Gamers are what drive console sales not people watching Hulu and Nextflix.

  6. Spark, I believe if this rumor turns out to be correct, Microsoft will likely keep the existing model but have the disc-less model for a slightly lower price.

    .

I still hope Microsoft doesn't drop the Kinect, else I'll drop a class action lawsuit on someone.. lol

I just hope nothing changes. It's a fabulous console as it is and it's selling at record speed for a Microsoft console. Call me a fanboy if you want. Wouldn't be here if I wasn't.

Sorry man. Just get a bit frustrated with all the negativity on here all the time. Not pissed at any one. Personally I don't want them to change anything. I love it just the way it is. Well with a few software updates.

    [/quote]

And you've worked tirelessly everyday since launch to try to strong arm those that had legitimate complaints to smile and pretend to be happy. Why not just let it go? Are you just flat out incapable of allowing one to think for themselves and have their
    own opinions?

  10. Bizarro, when someone has a legitimate complaint, it should be in the Feedback section of these forums. Instead all we see are hate filled threads continuously posted in this troll infested corner of the forums.

  11. Randver so accurate a statement! everything is to play for but cost does have a impact it did with the PS3 till Sony reduced the price and then things started to change for Sony. Same will happen with Microsoft with the XBOne, people need to see the whole
picture on here and not purely what they want to see or hear.

I haven't strong armed anybody mate. If someone has a problem that's fine. I usually drop one comment on how I feel about it and move on. I never put anyone down for anything. So don't go accusing me of stuff mate.

    Not much sense!

While I can agree chameleon, no one expected sony to rip the console to bits just to make it cheaper. They waited. Xbox one will have a price drop in time. That's guaranteed. Whether anything is left if the original console after all the complaints is yet
    to be seen.

  14. The Xbox 360 went through a lot of changes...a lot! It both evolved and improved and in the end, it was still an Xbox 360. From the beginning to the end - it has been a great console in price vs performance vs features - in my experience/expectations from
it. By the way, my first Xbox 360 which I got at midnight launch lasted almost fours years.
