not loading...black screen

i popped the game disc in and up pops the main title picture then the screen just goes black. i have been able to play the game before but not now. av tried another game and that was fine

​The Jisgsaw puzzles are not loading.

The puzzles are not loading. Jigsaw brings me to the puzzle selection. When I select a puzzles, they are not loading. They remain in loading status and then the screen blacks out and brings me back to the Microsoft Solitaire Collection screen.

This has to be fixed please.

When you start up dark souls does go a black screen and not even show the loading bonfire?

 

i uninstalled the game and re installed it... all is well

 

I got the same friggin' problem, all my other games load alright. I even exchanged the disc twice did all the uninstall, reinstall operations that xbox 1 support suggests, ...all 17 procedures starting with the hard reset to resetting my Xbox 1 to factory
settings and redoing everything, took me 13 hours, all wasted.

Tried everything that the people over at the ROTTR support forums suggested and they aren't responding to my complaints no more (TECSTAR70) and they aren't acknowledging that this problem exists and that the update #2 bug patch is most likely the cause.
Bastards! Their game is broken and they don't know how to fix it.

Played last night . First I uninstalled everything for ROTTR then went offline and reinstalled the game disc. I didn't download any updates or go back online.

 

I have digital and I have the same problem is their anything we can do to fix it?

 

I have same issue. When click to open game black screen no sound. Then sends me home. Done all that xbox support advise. Where to now guys

 

Just purchased this game and I cannot get it to play. After installing the game, I tried to start it.... Result: the game tried to loaded....a black screen appeared...then the launch aborted and screen returned to the TR home page.

I am tried multiple things like uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting console, nothing works.

Has anyone been successful at getting the game to start and play?

 

I tried to play online last night and it won't load. I can only play OFFLINE, ...friggin' pissoff!

 

all i can really say since my problem of the black screen of deleting then re installing the game i have had no bother since. if thats not working for other people not quite sure what else could try other then what xbox tell ya. hope the matters affecting
people get sorted in the end

 

I fixed it, ...reset to factory defaults. A big pain in the neck I know but a lot of little bugs on the dashboard got fixed too.

 

I had the same issue, game would intall then title screen would appear and then back to the home screen, talked to GAME and they suggested to uninstall and re-install but do so whislt OFFLINE game loaded and played fine BUT i then tried to do update and
same issue, so uninstalled and re-installed but play offline now and all is fine so something to do with the download....am waiting to talk to microsoft atm.....

 

I'm having the same black screen issue. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game multiple times, hard reset, everything. Nothing works, and advice from Microsoft hasn't helped either. My game is the digital copy as well, and I'm thinking something went
wrong with the update. But I don't know how it can be fixed, especially if I've uninstalled it a couple times.
