Not letting us sign in and instead closing the page

So we got the xbox when it came out, i was young at the time so my brother set up his account as the parental one with no real restrictions. Now all of a sudden years later, games i own and have played for years are content restricted and unplayable. So
we tried to sign into his account, and when we put in the password, it just closes. Not telling us incorrect password, just completely closes the page. So we change the password for the account, doesnt work, closes. Restart as i have done several time hoping
it will work, nope nothing. Now on our 5th restart, saying incorrect password even though we SET IT TEN MINUTES AGO. I do Not Want to reset my xbox. Anything we can do?

We reset his password 5 times and it finally worked

Hi there!

Maybe you should contact Xbox Support & contact them about this issue & attempt to get it fix. Since you cannot play any of your games since it was just restricted & have parential lock on your Xbox that none of you guys didn't do

- Sign in if you are not already.

I also noticed the page says install but doesn't let me, and when I sign out it shows the price instead. I had owned a microsoft game pass before, could that have messed with it?

Go to Xbox.com and log in. You will be asked to accept the Terms. Read them and do so.

Now it should automatically redirect you to another sign-in page with the parent's email address already entered and they just need the password. Now they have to read and accept the terms too. Then it should work.

It sounds to me as if your parents were logging in at a different time and/or in a different session.

Let us know if that worked.

If the parental email is still needed, log out and close the browser. Now log in and refuse to accept the Terms. Go instead to My Account (link upper right, click words My Account). Now try to click on Privacy & Online Settings. It should ask you to log
in as the parent, with the parental email already pre-filled in for you. Now log out again and close the browser. Go back to Xbox.com, sign in and try the first steps I mentioned to accept the Terms.
