Not letting me set home xbox

My friend made his Xbox one the home Xbox for my account and i can't get it set it back on mine now. This is the this is the first time in my year. I tried hard resetting among other things and keep getting the same message "you can only have one home Xbox
at a time, and switch between consoles up to three times a year." Thanks in advanced for helping me.

Also i want to thank Daniel(helped me try to fix it through the phone on Xbox customer support) ,although we couldn't find a solution thank you for trying to help me.

basically my Xbox is not letting me play any game unless i set it to not my home Xbox when it is my home Xbox, any suggestions?

Can I change my home Xbox console to a different console?

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period. When you change home consoles, all device licences for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licences will no longer be available on your old
“home” Xbox.

 

I am Trying to game share with friend and wont let me Set his account as home xbox and i still have a turn to setf as home xbox
