Not letting me get Xbox live gold

OK two things first if your profile isnt the one with gold but home gold that would be why

Home gold is only an Xbox one feature

If you are getting a specific error we need to know which of the 3 possible ones

If Not available in your region

Simple fix you must match your account region to your actual region if you don't live in an Xbox live region then you are out of luck

If it is asking for a payment option that's normal

For Xbox 360 bc titles you must have an Xbox 360 without a payment option or using the website or the Xbox one you must have a creditcard on file

If it is you aren't allowed to download this content

The issue is your account being a child

Sign into the parent account and add gold to that account and use that account to queue it

Child accounts cannot download free m rated or nr games including games with gold

If it's a prepaid code try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcodeAlso check that account , console and code region match, using different regions van cause issues too.

I think i figured it out, my xbox live subscription ran out between getting the game and letting it download and booting it up to play it. apparently my xbox games with gold won't let me play in between gold subscriptions. I wanted to do some single-players
while on gold hiatus for a few days, but that won't let me.

yup happened to me too .....but i cant remember the error code ..... but i do remember that when i tried it again it said, you have already recieved your 2 week free trial ....which was(dare i say it) ..... a damn lie
