Not letting me change the birthdate on my account and support is useless.

Here's the story:when i created my account around 10 years ago,i wrote a false date of birth. I really dislike giving personal informations to companies,so i gave as less as possible. (Giving what recently happened with Cambrige Analytica and the breaches
of security on Twitter,that's not stupid at all)

I wrote i was born in 2002 (just a random date)and that i was from france (im actually from canada),which would make my account a "child account". It has never been a problem for me until last month when i received a msg when i logged in to my MS account,telling
me i needed to get my "parent's permission" to use this account or i would lose "access to all content".

1. I don't have a "parent's account" so i created one that i linked to my "child account"to give me consent,it didnt work.It just told me there was a problem,with no explanation. (Fine,it would be too easy to bypass it)

2. Another way to prove im over 18 was giving my credit card infos,which i tried to do,didnt work.Giving the fact that my credit card's zip code is in canada,it didnt match with a zip code from france (the false country i used).

Crazy because i've been using a credit card on my microsoft account for 10 years. Just doesnt work to verify my identity,apparently.

3. 3rd way to prove im not a minor was send a picture of an official ID card.So i sent a picture of my health insurance card giving by the canadian government that has my name and date of birth on it. Got an anwser telling me it wasnt "eligible".Right,because
an ID card from a government body isnt what you asked for,right?!?!?! (Below the picture,i even translated the infos on the ID from french,to make it easier for them)

Got in touch with xbox support explaining them the situation and asked my GT to be tranfered to another microsoft account.Something we cant do anymore,apparently.

I created my account in 2007-2008 so that would have made me 5 year old,do you think it makes sense that i created my account when i was 5?

Is it too much to ask for support to use logic and common sense?

I've dealt with this idiocy from microsoft and xbox for 10 years,im done with it.

Once my xbox live subsciption ends in a couple months,im selling my xbox and buying a ps4. I work at an EBGames,btw,where we sell games and consoles and ill make sure everyone knows ps4 is just better.

I dont even want an answer to this,just needed to rant.

I'm sorry that support misdirected you. But the birthdate listed on your Xbox account is permanent. There is no way to change it. The process on that link will not change the birthdate on your Xbox account.

Changing your birthdate on account.microsoft.com does not change the birthdate on your Xbox account. The birthdate on your Xbox account is permanent. There is no way to circumvent this restriction.
