    Always having difficulty connecting to Xbox Live

    Greetings, Hippohcrit! Sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting up to LIVE. Let's see what we can do to get this sorted. Starting off, it looks like you have a few error messages that can point us in the right direction. Can you please take a look
    at these two support articles and let me know if it helps resolve the issue?



    MTU: "Error: Your network does not have a sufficient MTU setting"

    IP Error: "Error: Can't obtain an IP address from your router or modem"

    Glad the console is set up and working well for you!

    Regarding transferring licenses, here's some points to keep in mind. First, you can only play games offline on all profiles if the console is holding the licenses. So if you purchased them on your Old console, that's where the licenses are. If the Old console
    will always be connected to LIVE, but the bedroom console will not be connected to LIVE, then transferring the licenses there might be beneficial. You do have to have the console connected to LIVE to do this transfer though.

    Hey Turtle! Are you connected through a wired or a wireless connection? I would suggest you "Test your Xbox Live Connection" and let us know if it comes back with any errors, such as NAT or MTU. If you do get an error, you can refer to this handy tool:
    I get an error message when I test my Xbox Live connection.
