Not having Xbox gold on other consoles

If you have an active gold subscription and sign in with that account on any console you have all the benefits of the gold subscription.

Are you singing in with the correct account?

Does this account have a gold subscription?

If someone has a gold subscription and the "other" xbox is their home console that may be why you appear to have gold on one but not the other.

3 xboxs in myhouse one xbox live account i used to be able to have all have gold with just my one main xbox being the one that has xbox live gold but now live isnt working for the other 2

You can only use home gold on one console and the account with actual gold can roam on any other console so at max two consoles at the same time

You will have to get another gold

as others have suggested, you set your sons xbox as your home console, and your xbox as his home console, then just having 1 account with live gold on means that both consoles will then have gold live subscription

On the Xbox One you can have one account with Gold set that console as Home Console and other profiles will be able to use Gold features. On the Xbox 360 though, each account needs to have it's own Gold subscription to play online. Sorry.

As long as one of the accounts has an active Gold subscription, and that account has that console set as it's 'Home' console, all other accounts on that console will have the benefits of a Gold membership. This feature is called
Home Gold.
