Not happy at all!

Could someone from the xbox team please explain to me why my NEW xbox one has screen tearing issue's on just about
everything i play?

Iv'e been a loyal xbox fan from day one but this just feels likes iv'e been sold something thats
NOT finished and isn't up to the job.

1080p and a good frame rate is all i expected from the next generation

Perhaps Microsoft needs to recall all these half finished, half **** xbox one's put some better RAM in them and start again. (Get your check book out)

Iv'e always loved the xbox brand but whoever thought this hardware was going to last 10 years is stealing a living.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sort this mess out before i call time on your once wonderful console division.

this really sucks and from reading other post it seems that when the game finally finishing downloading(been over 12hrs already 33% done) i'm likely going to have to un/reinstall all over again? This is Nuts digital downloads SUCK!

I don't even have kinect so that's probably just a coincidence for you.

 

I think it's more of a developer issue to fix. I've really only noticed it on 2 games.

 

I wonder if the OP has tried to restore his console to factory defaults...I mean, its worth a shot instead of complaining to Microsoft that never actually reads these forums...

 

Granted, but why make the xbox one hard to develop for and underpowered as some seem to be suggesting.

Trials fusion 900p. On a good few levels.

Titanfall 792p. everywhere.

Battlefield 4 720p. everywhere.

I can understand one or two issues but my 360 didnt tear as much at pretty much the same resolution.

final note: there are 86 million 360 users out there and at this rate xbox one will struggle to get half that number.

Tis why I'm patiently waiting for all issues with xbox1 to be resolved before purchasing.

 

What issues are there? The machine works perfectly fine and I have had mine since launch.

 

The X1 is way more advanced than the 360 so I'm sure it's possible. It's just a matter on how much time the dev wants to put in to making a great game without tearing. I'm with you though. It shouldn't be happening.

 

I've had screen tearing on Titanfall and Trials. However the latest Titanfall update has fixed the issue for me which leads me to believe it's something on the dev's end as others have said.

 

nothing wrong with the console, powerful enough, only had slight screentear on some games, but rest assured, ps4 also gets screentear so it is not the machined it is the devs.

 

Okay, either you guys are calling it something I call something else, or I'm just using a tv. What the hell is 'screen tearing'? Clips would be appreciated. I have a Samsung, no idea what level of HD it gets, but I don't think I've ever seen 'screen tearing'

 

Like others have mentioned, I haven't had any overly noticeable issues with my One. If the OP really cared so much about numbers (1080P 60 FPS) why didn't he/she just go the PC route?

 

So its just me thats not happy with my next generation console not rely being that next gen then?

Im 37 years old and have been around gaming before most people on this forum were born. Top and bottom of it is that i'm not impressed at all so far with what iv'e seen or played. I do consider myself to be a xbox fan but i think we've left with the runt
of the litter this time round. Sony = no money. MS = made 30 billion last year and we still ended up with inferior hardware. Just goes to show what they truly think.

If you upgrade your mobile phone, as we do every two years and pay top £ for it do you expect it to be the best on the market? if only at least for a few months?

Of course its a numbers game!!!!! standard bench mark is 1080p or its not progression.
