Not getting Verification Code sent to my hotmail account!?

I need to cancel the automatic renewal for xbox live gold membership . But I can't change it without going though this code thing. I entered my e-mail correctly and I'm not getting it. I've waited hours, never got it. I can't do it by text cause I don't
got a cell phone. Please help! This Help us protect your account thing by sending a code isn't working at all for me. I JUST want to cancel the automatic renewal for xbox live gold membership.

i cant sign in!!! help!!

ok, so a while back LIVE sent me a message over xbox live and said that i needed to enter in a security code for my account so no one else could sign in to it. i ignored it. a few days ago i was at my friends house and i couldnt download my account. an error code popped up. now when i try to sign in to xbox live on my computer, it makes me go through all this crap. my email hooked up to xbox live is hotmail and it is microsoft too. i have to enter that stuff in my hotmail account too! Help!

Can't change my billing info

So I have a two step verification method

And I used my Alternate email address for the verification code (as usual)

And Microsoft hasn't sent me any codes for 7 months in my email and I'm getting frustrated.

I have a Gmail address.

if you cant do it by System contact xbox Support on phone, they can do it on your behalf

the agents can stop the autorenewal, most likely the reason you're not receiving the code is due to the browswer. Try to stick to internet explorer or firefox, I know safari and google chrome sometimes wont send the codes out ( not sure why ) but if you
just want to avoid calling them to do it, try a different browser and you should be good! =)

Well hilariously enough I switched my email that the code is sent to to my gmail instead of a Microsoft hotmail account and now it works.

I went to Microsoft then profile, I saw my gamerpic, went to contact info and it said "There are no phone numbers associated with this account" but every time anything needs a verification code that code gets sent to my mom. I don't know what to
do.
