    Not getting prompted for solvable games or level of difficulty on Spider or FreeCell


    Klondike now prompts for solvable games and level of difficulty, but not Spider or FreeCell. Does that feature kick in only after playing a certain number of random games? The promo sounded like this feature would be immediately available for all 3 games.

    Under game options, the 'Always play random deck" is unchecked.

    Solvable games

    Hey guys, I love playing the different solitaire games, and I REALLY loved it when you made Klondike, Spider and Freecell with the option to play only solvable games. I actually like pyramid and TriPeaks the best, but find it incredibly frustrating that
    the majority of games are not solvable. Is there any way you can give us the option of solvable games for Pyramid and TriPeaks too?

    Some challenges can not be completed?

    There are several challenges in November that I can't seem to solve. They are:

    11/13: Spider and Freecell

    11/14: Freecell

    11/15: Spider and Freecell

    11/18: Klondike (no challenge given, clicking game closes app and goes to start screen - seems a known issue).

    Am I the only one having problems solving 13th - 15th challenges for Spider and/or Freecell? Can these challenges be completed?

    Statistics show I've played Spider 29 times and FreeCell 61 times, so it can't be due to the number of games played.

    Looks like a bug.

    I uninstalled/reinstalled the game following the FAQ instructions. Made no difference.

    Update: Spider is now prompting for solvable games, but not freecell yet.

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection stuck on random

    Actually if I'm not mistaken that option is available only for Klondike, Spider and Freecell, while it is not available for Tripeaks or Pyramid which are RNG so difficulty doesn't really apply.
    Tripeaks and Pyramid daily challenges are always difficulty rated instead since those are the only ones guaranteed to be solvable (as far as the challenge requires).

    Under Game Options you'll be able to check if your deck difficulty is remembered for Klondike, Spider, Freecell ... that leads me to believe that difficulty settings are not available for Pyramid and Tripeaks.
