    Not getting party invites and can't change online status


    As of yesterday I'm unable to recieve and party invites or appear online and it's frustrating since it's happening to my friends i play with as well. We've done every trouble shooting method we've been able to find on numerous threads and still no luck.
    Can anyone help?

    Hey there John,

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to change online status.

    I would say you perhaps try a soft factory reset. It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most
    issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    I've seen a few people report that online status. Seems like that's on Xbox's end.

    You probably need to wait for a fix.

    I seem to have the same problem i can't join parties and my friends accounts see me as appearing offline (my status keeps goin unknown) i can still play online games but cant see or accepted invites or join people
