Not getting new messages

Ever since last update may 2019, i have not been able to get any new messages i checked my settings everything is fine ive tried to hard reset the console and restart the console and it still doesn't notify me when someone or someone new messages me so
i even tried deleting all my messages in the chat tab and after i do it they just still appear in the chat tab

Some users have that problem, just wait so xbox live fix this!

Yea ive done that already lol but i appreciate it ive tried everything I can think of. But what do you mean by am i a part of the xbox insiders program?

Hey,

some users have a problem with sending or receiving messages. Xbox team is working to fix this problem.

I am sorry to hear about the problem you’re having at the moment, are u a part of the xbox insiders program because that can have an effect on those type of things depending on which build you have because when u get updates before other xbox gamers because
u are in the xbox insiders they have bugs they’re trying to workout before they make it come live onto the xbox build for all gamers, another thing that may fix your problem is removing the profile/account from the xbox and then putting it back on the xbox
that may fix it as well, other then that I am not sure what the problem is you did most of the steps that should fix that so just call xbox customer service support and they should be able to help you fix it.
