    Not getting monthly usage update.


    First of all I apologize if I'm in the wrong thread, it's my first post. My brother recently received an email regarding how much he played and which game he played the most, ect. The parental account that is not used got the same kind of email. I have not
    received any emails that pertain to usage. I've searched the settings and I am unable to rectify the issue. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Monthly game usage

    My son receives a monthly game usage report from Xbox I do not. I have checked to make sure my email address is correct in many different fields associated with my account. I do get emails from Xbox many times a month but not the monthly game usage.

    Using a phone as a wi-if hotspot

    If you go into Poer & startup settings and disable "Automatically download updates and purchases" you shouldn't use more than a couple of hundred kB's every hour.

    Also, If you go to Bandwidth usage in Network settings you can see an hour by hour usage for the last 12 hours and a total monthly usage. That should give you a better idea of your usage.

    Maybe you could give us an hint of how much mobile data usage you can access on a monthly basis, before your usage is being capped/shaped/downgraded?

    How much mobile data usage do you normally have on a monthly basis (hotspot/sharing excluded)?

    Are you sure it's actually from xbox?

    I get weekly play report from Raptr

    Maybe your son gets it from raptr so some other similar service

    I've received that same email in the past, but haven't gotten one in several months. However, I'm not sure how you sign up to receive them.

    @Apostle - They are from Xbox, but they're kind of a mystery.
