Not getting invites or message notifications

Hey Megahurts!

If you haven't yet, the first thing you'll want to do is
power cycle your console. This can resolve a lot of common issues, like notifications not working properly. You can also try power cycling your home network by unplugging everything for 5 minutes and then plugging it all back in and rebooting it.

Hopefully one of those resolves things as those are by far the least painful troubleshooting steps to try. Keep us posted!

That was what I tried in #4. Again, it doesn't seem to be an issue with the notifications as if that were the case the invites would still appear in my invitations section. I'm not receiving the invites at all. I get messages no problem, the notification
pops up and everything.

I'm getting achievements but no notifications of any sort, it doesn't notify me when I get an achievement or when friends come on or even when I get messages or invites all of a sudden I just have messages show up with no notification

I'm not getting any notifications for friends coming online either, messages, party invites etc. all show up though.

Sorry to see any notifications issues! We've seen a few of these floating around recently.

When you factory reset your console, did you keep your games & apps? I only ask because there's two different ways to factory reset, and I want to be sure you've either done the full one or both ways.

The reason why I ask is because another account on your console is having the same issue. If you've done both resets, it sounds like it might be a networking issue. Do you happen to have any other wireless or internet-capable devices next to your console?
If so, move them away or the console away, at least 5 feet. There could be some interference preventing your console from getting certain communications from Xbox Live. If you are wireless, go wired. Lastly, if these don't help you out, post back with your
modem and router manufacturer and model number so that we can look into possible known issues with Xbox Live and those devices.
