    Not getting any sound through my surrond sound system


    I just brought a brand new Xbox one yesterday and I’ve set it up all correctly, now I’ve got 3 HDMI cables for it and I have a surrond sound system I’ve tried connecting it all the right way got all my information on the website but I still have no sound
    through my sound system I have ran out of ideas!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

    What TV Are You Currently Using With Your Xbox One?

    Samsung 32" 1080p

    Sound still waiting for dd update so my 15 year old surrond sounds works again

    I want to ugrade to 42" 3d samsung with dts surrond sound at some point

    Update needed ASAP

    I hope surrond sound and memory leaks are the first targets for updates. Nothing wrong on your list but sound and functionality are 1st on mine.

    OPTICAL CABLE - XBOX ONE

    Hi,

    I have a strange problem. I have an XBOX ONE that is connected to my Tv with HDMI. About sound, I have connected my XBOX ONE with optical cable to an Home theater ( SONY BVD-E2100 ). The problem is that, ONLY when I use the xbox, the sound exit only in stereo
    mode, the left surrond, the right surrond and the subwoofer don’t work. I reset my home theater and all the speakers works fine and the surrond mode too but using the xbox the problem still remain ( I hear only in stereo mode).

    I try to switch between uncompressed stereo, bitstream exit ( Dolby and DTS ) and tested but nothing change.

    I really need your help, please

    no surround on x1?

    Ya i plug my surround sound system through digital optical and all I get is distorted sound occasionally (crackles) and no 5.1 . There are no crackles through my tv to surround or xbox 360 through surround. I will be sending this unit back if no sound
    update fixes this but not until I test it a little longer.
