    Unable to receive game invites or party invites

    After the update of yesterday I can't receive any game invitations or party invitation

    Parties, chats and game invites

    I don't see anything good about this system whatsoever. Whats wrong with just keeping everyone in the same party no matter what game you put in.
    I still can't get it to work and my friends nat type is open and ive turned on party chat.
    I take it if I turn on party chat then he doesn't have to? Not that he can anyway.

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Let's start with a couple different solutions but if you already have tried these steps, please feel free to post back what you have tried!


    If the issue persists after trying those steps out, I recommend doing a Factory
    Restore on your Xbox One console    . Be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps' to avoid reinstalling content. Keep us posted on how it goes!

    Not getting any notifications for party or game invites

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue but there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as extended powercycle and resetting your network hardware by following the steps below:

    " 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

    Can't connect to parties POST update.

    Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
    when I get home, fingers crossed.

    Well it is also happening to my friends online. The invites are going through the app and not the Xbox itself. Some people on Twitter has also reported it to the support account
