    last week my xbox one s suddenly stopped working. It is only 18 months old with no prior issues at all. I simply woke up and went to play my xbox and got the something went wrong screen with error code 102. I tried to reset the xbox but nothing, i downloaded
    the osu1 file to a usb and followed the steps. I held the eject and pair button until i heard a 2nd beep, then i put in the usb drive but nothing happened. I believe I didn't copy/unzip the file correctly so I took out the usb and started the process all over.
    This time when I press the pair and eject buttons im not getting a 2ND power up tone. I am beyond frustrated with all of this nonsense. This isn't the users fault, the are issues created by microsoft just so they can get us to spend more money with them by
    having to pay for repairs that is ridiculously overpriced!!!

    Why am I not getting a 2nd beep now? Why cant I reset my xbox? If error code 102 is simply an update issue, why are soo many of us not able to update it offline? They should have another error code being specific by saying.....nothing you can try will work./
    You must send your xbox to us and pay almost $200 because as we made it...this issues happens after the warranty period!

    If I cant fix this at home I will be switching back over to play station where I dont have to pay for xbox live and game pass and have multiple accounts because we have 3 consoles in our home and even though they are set to home xbox all 3 boys cant be on
    at the same time. Xbox is a rip off!

    My Xbox s won’t turn in. It beeps, but never powers up.

    That reset procedure didn’t work. I never get the 2nd set of beeps and it runs for few seconds and shuts down again.

    If it won’t power up, how am I supposed to do the offline system update?

    I'm getting the 102 error, and I tried resetting the console to factory default using the USB flash drive, but it just turns off after I release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the two beeps. I've downloaded the $SystemUpdate on a NTFS formatted USB drive.

    The controller will not connect via USB, it blinks and powers up, but does not connect, so I can't even select anything on the Troubleshooting screen.

    Any ideas?
    Try using the controller to turn the xbox on thats what i have to do sometimes

    Well I've been trying all that and I can now get it onto the update screen, but when I try and move my fingers away after the 2nd power on tone, it then makes a power off tone then turns its self off right after. :/
