Not exactly understood the 'regular user' benefit of this new feature

It wouldn't have been a benefit to consumers.

I'm familiar with the feature, just need to be sure that you are talking about exactly what I have understood and that I understood correctly

This feature is not available on looking for group function of the Xbox, this is because on PC you have the option to select text chat only, that's what's triggers the open group chat option and you can test this by selecting voice required when you create the post on the PC

Oh I can see what you are saying now. I didn't realize that was a feature and I honestly would have rather just had 6 months of regular gold if I understood what it was saying when it redeemed it. Thanks for your quick responses and help!

Understood, we had to download JD20, but is this common (not supporting games that are less than a year old)? I would have just bought a regular Xbox and the kinect otherwise.

I'm new to the gaming world but this seems asinine to me.
