Not enough time to play my games

I usually only play in the evenings sometimes go a bit past my bed time and can stay up later on Fridays and Saturdays and spend much more time on weekends. If I do manage to get on in the mornings, it's to check who's online, friends, or just AFK in some
game youtube or the Dashboard for about 5 or so minutes then it goes off. When it comes to even short term school holidays which are two weeks long all I hear is "I'm bored". When it comes to summer holidays (December/January) it's "we're dying of boredom".
We're so use to being busy that if we were to indulge in more than a couple of days doing completely nothing it does get boring. Although Xbox is fun, tooooo much time on it can be unhealthy.

 

I honestly do not seem to have as much time for gaming as I would like as well. Having a family, a 40 hour a week job and other obligations in between reduces my gaming time to very little hours during some weekday nights and a few more hours during the
weekends. Between my Xbox 360 and Xbox One I have enough games for my gamerscore to be much, much higher than it is now, but not enough time currently to indulge in them all.

 

It happens to a lot of people for various reasons. Which makes me wonder how the people who own all consoles & game on PC do it. I feel overwhelmed with just the XB1 & 360.

I wish I had more time for it too. With the Games With Gold offerings I really shouldn't be buying any games, but they still tempt me anyway. I am the same as Listed, do 60 hour weeks ish and mainly play on a weekend.

My 360 HD is full of games I haven't got round to and they still offer ones I would like to play. I had 2 weeks off so managed to play through Diablo, Another World (took all of 20mins I played it to death when it originally came out) and MG Ground Zeroes.

Like I said I really don't ever need to buy a game with all the free offerings, just be patient and let them come in time!

I agree CollapseControl. I have to many games, and not enough time to play. I usually enjoy 1 game at a time, once I finish it I will move onto the next. This past week I have done a chapter or 2 in multiple games trying to knock some of my back log out.


But with Destiny coming out, I do not know how I am going to manage Destiny, Diablo 3 UEE, and Madden Online Career w/ my friends. (And a lot of back log)

 

I find I buy too many games and don't finish them all, particularly the ones that are single-player or have a good story. I tend to turn toward the multiplayer aspect of games and find myself playing the same games over and over again for months at a time
(e.g., Killer Instinct, Minecraft, Battlefield 4, etc.), while forsaking others in the process (Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, etc).

 

I played hooky today from work!

MineCraft day.

They probably will make me take tomorrow off too. Some punishment heh?

 

I treat it like snacking when I get home from work bits at a time then binge at the weekend (sounds like drinking really)

plus I'm not neglecting the other half and my responsibilities and it keeps her happy and I don't feel guilty if I have a game meet and spend 3hrs plus on it

 

I play for up to one hour per night, Monday - Friday, and then a bit longer at the weekends. I have no burdensome obligations to people and no responsibilities other than my day job, so it's just a matter of deciding how much time to give to personal pursuits
and how much time to give to recreation.

Games are fun, and they are to be respected for how consuming they can be if one is not wise.

Just be smart. Or, Play to relax when the day is done like everyone else.

 

My brother took yesterday and today off and you know what? It wasn't to play Minecraft or Destiny. He was actually not feeling well! Weird! I know, right!?

 

I hope your Brother gets well soon.!!

The only problem is, he feels like crap... That means TV maybe unwanted alltogether.... Openening your eyes can be a chore when sick!

I pray your brother has a lady friend Some soup and a woman can heal all .....
