Not enough space for data!

so i started getting this message while playing fallout 4. Deleted a bunch of saves still getting the message. Was told by numerous people you dont have enough cloud storage, you need more games. Sidenote, i only play two games fallout 4 and gears of war
4. Anyway i added a whole bunch of games so now im sitting around 70 percent on my xbox itself. Guess what? Now im getting this no room message on other games! Very frustating trying to play a game and it pops up every 30 seconds. Why cant we just turn this
frigging cloud off? I dont go to friends places and play other games. I dont transfer my data between xboxes. Just want to play. Ive tried offline ive tried more games it is just getting worse. Any other wild suggestions i can try??

XBOX USB PROBLEM

That was the problem. I got the USB so I could install GTA. There's not enough space. The XBOX didn't come with a harddrive and the only storage spaces on there aren't enough to hold the data

Not enough space

I have a new XBox One S 1T

I have no games and only a few apps like youtube and something to play mp4 movies.

I copied 8 movies to the harddrive Video folder.

Trying to copy movie 9 I get message not enough space.

I deleted all movies and started over. This time I got 7 movies copied before I got the error.

I have tried Hard reset and clear persistent memory. Still same.

Only thing I have not done is set to factory settings.

It says I have 0.2% used with the 7 movies on the disk.

So what gives with this machine? This is 2017. Copying files to a hard drive was figured out by Microsoft back in the 80's

Thanks for reading. Hope someone has a real fix other than turn it on and off.

This sounds similar to what happened to me in Fallout 4.

To try and workaround the problem when you start the game and the home screen has loaded select the option to load the game and if you scroll down the list you will notice that there will probably be quite a few game saves listed. What I did was to delete
a large number of the older game saves listed here and after doing this I could save the game again.

it's a 250gb hard drive and it has very minimal data on it. Not enough space isn't the problem.

You can go through your achievement list and delete anything that has 0 achievements. Other than that you can't. In the grand scheme of things your account shouldn't be taking up that much space anyway. Only a few megs tops.
