Not enough gb for destiny

Dear people,

I hope someone can help me fast !

Today i got my destiny pre-order. When i read the plastic protection thing i saw that you need 20gb for it.. but i only have like 14 gb total,

( got a xbox 360 phat white ) so i was a little bit mad.. so i decided to buy a 120gb harddrive on the internet... Tomorrow i go to that guy to pay him and get the harddrive so i can still play my destiny game !.. but there is 1 thing where im a little affraid
of, Will the new 120 gb harddrive work ? its a used one but its pretty fresh and is almost not used.

and how do i need to instal on it ? how do i put my account in it ?

Who can help me ? im not waiting for more problems like that it doesnt work or something.. i take my xbox with me to him tomorrow ( today in the netherlands )

and i want to test it.

Cannot download games.

I am trying to download Destiny but when it reaches 100% it says cannot download Destiny and i have 52 gb remaining and it does not show an error code.

 

Destiny XBOX 360 Constantly Re-Installs

I just picked up a physical copy of Destiny for the XBOX 360.

The first time I went to paly the game I inserted the disc and a screen saying Installing Destiny appeared, and 5.51 GB was copied form the disc to my hard drive, and I downloaded about 1.5 GB in updates from the internet.

EVERY TIME I go to play the game again it copies 5.51 GB from the disc to my hard drive and downloads another 100-200 MB in updates from the internet.

If I view my HDD in the system settings it shows that Destiny has about 8 GB of data written to the hard drive, but I have to re-copy 5.51 GB EVERY TIME!

What is wrong with my XBOX 360, and or Destiny, or am I supposed to not launch it from the DVD anymore?

What do I have to do avoid "Installing Destiny" EVERY TIME I want to play?

The functioning of the HDD device depends by its conditions. I suggest you to get your console parts from certified retailers

To install the exterior HDD scroll to the middle of this link regarding HDD for the Original Xbox 360 console:

support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

Your account will remain in your xbox console unless you decide to move it to your HDD

I know how to remove it but i hope that i will not have problems installing it...

When does a harddrive not work and what reasons are that if its not working ? like that the console cant find any harddrive or something.

 

There are different reasons a HDD malfunctions and most of the time is caused by corrupted files. A regular maintenance of HDD by clearing the cache from time to time will prevent that.
