    I recently tried to change my gamertag that I've had for ages, and had already used my free one (doing this on browser as I don't have access to an Xbox) I entered my card details, which were all correct. Then when I click Confirm it tells me "Sorry, you
    are not eligible for this offer" What offer is it talking about, cause I never selected any offers, just a payment to change my tag?

    If at the screen you decided to input your own you are not eligible for a free gamertag change you are only eligible if you keep the pre assigned one

    Not eligible for advanced exchange?

    Advanced Exchange is no longer an option on myservice.xbox.com to do yourself, you must contact Microsoft Support and have an agent set it up. Too many times consoles were being sent in without being properly troubleshot and it was found that there was nothing
    wrong with them hardware wise.

    Im wanting my old gamertag back as my brother change it and it's a unauthorized change so I'm requesting my old gamertag back
    If it was an unauthorized purchase the only people that can do anything IF your account is eligible would be xbox billing support who basically IF your account is eligible would give you a credit to your account so that you can change your gamertag back
    to the old one.

    Xbox gamertag change error.

    You must be using a recent system assigned gamertag to be eligible for a free change. If you are not then you will have to pay for the change.

    Hey there, if the gamertag is the same as your account your are using it here, so bidd1e m0nk, it is a custom gamertag, therefore it is not eligible for a free gamertag change and unfortunately you have to pay for it.

    Only automatic generated gamertags can be changed for free!
