    Not eligible for advanced exchange?


    Does anybody know why I would not be eligible? My launch day Xbox One had to be replaced due to controller disconnect issues, and I did an advanced exchange for that. Now my replacement's fan is abnormally loud, and I don't have the option to do another
    one.

    My disappointment with my Xbox One system.

    When I was requesting servicing of my console and Kinect, it said that my repair was not eligible for Advanced Exchange.

    I recently tried to change my gamertag that I've had for ages, and had already used my free one (doing this on browser as I don't have access to an Xbox) I entered my card details, which were all correct. Then when I click Confirm it tells me "Sorry, you

    If you don't have an option to do an Advanced Exchange online then give Microsoft a call at 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they should offer you an option for it. Post back here with your results!

    Advanced Exchange is no longer an option on myservice.xbox.com to do yourself, you must contact Microsoft Support and have an agent set it up. Too many times consoles were being sent in without being properly troubleshot and it was found that there was nothing
    wrong with them hardware wise.

    Advanced Exchange

    The Advanced Exchange is a great option. When you receive your replacement console, you will want to immediately pack up your broken console and return it ASAP, following the instructions included in the replacement package.

    You would be charged the price of a console IF Microsoft does not receive your broken console within the specified time-frame. Unless you tampered with your console, you won't have any issues. In the event they determine you have tampered with the console,
    and thus voided the warranty, they would simply return your defective machine, and expect you to return the replacement they sent you. My guess is that you have not tampered with the console, so no worries. :)
