    Not downloading


    We have a Xbox one for the kids. We bought Forza 3 download for my son. He has redeems the code and the game shows under ready to install but doesn't install. If we click on install either nothing happens or occasionnaly it's queued but doesn't start downloading
    beyond 0%. This is similar to apps not just games...eg we tried to play a DVD and it won't install blueray. Network connectivity checked and download speed comes up as 29mbs. Wifi is 85%. We've rebooted. But nothing helps.

    Help out a parent whose kid is driving him crazy this Xmas Not downloading :)

    I am not going to pay for a game that wont let you download add-ons what the hell is happening

    I have bought 112 puzzles but I can't download any of them. I have tried to uninstall Microsoft Jigsaw and reinstall it and many other things suggested by other users but everything in vain.

    hi, this tends to usually happen if there isn't sufficient space remaining on the hard drive. Portable computer hard drives can be plugged into the left side of the console and then formatted for use with the system.

    Try clearing the cache on your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds. Retry afterwards.

    HDD has 150Gb free space.

    We did do a restart by holding down power button on console for >10secs. Will try again this morning

    Any other suggestions?

    To update those who may encounter the same problem.....

    XboX support was pretty much useless - factory resets, network checking and plugging in external hard drive didn't help. They suggested I either upgrade my consolde or send it for replacement/repair at a cost of $181.....wtf?

    I then went online to other "more useful forums" and asked the question. Within 2 answers the suggesting made worked perfectly.....switch off IPv6. As soon as I did that the game downloaded.

    I'd suggest Xbox support maybe include that as the extremely basic troubleshooting they did was absolutely useless and wasted half a day on Boxing day for me.

    Downloading after Downloading

    That is a problem that happens when you try to download GTA V game and the online game packs at the same time. To solve this you should delete the game and clear you console cache three times:

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    Download only the main game of GTA V and play the game normally for a while. After you can download the game packs.

    yes as long as you are signed into the account that bought it you can re download as many times as you want for free.

    Hi there, the only thing I can think of is did you ever go through your hard drive to see if there was a partial download of the game, possibly with a yellow triangle signalling that it's corrupted?

    Sometimes these corrupted partial downloads can stop it from being re-download successfully the second time. See the link for more information on deleting games from your hard drive:
