    Not detecting network anymore


    Bought a brand new xbox less than 6 months ago everything was fine until today. The xbox no longer my network while all other devices do, laptop, tablets phones.

    Xbox was restarted so was the modem/router does that mean the xbox is faulty and that the internal wireless adapter need replacing?

    So much for a product that is less than 6 months old.

    Really not happy.

    Sorry your information didnt helped

    My problem is that my white wirless adaper shows only solid red light and not detecting networks, after i tryed to connect it with cabels. After this adaptor isnt detecting any of networks

    I WAS CONNECTED TO LIVE! PROBLEM IS NOT WHERE I LIVE

    xbox not detecting wireless network

    I tried turning on xbox live and the xbox is not detecting ANY wireless networks. The wireless network is working in our home. This has happened before, and someone on this forum told us what to do to resolve the problem, but I cannot remember what it was.
    This is not a error code, it just won't connect to home network

    I've tried but unfortunately it doesn't work. I disabled firewall and all. I Troubleshooted and a problem was found:'Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings.' if there are anymore solutions please tell me.

    Hi GtownThor, Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Have you tried using another Ethernet cable in place of the one you are using now? Also have you tried by passing your router and connecting the Xbox directly into your isp modem? If not I would
    recommend trying another ethernet cable and or trying to connect it directly to your modem to see if it works, but you will need to unplug your modem to do this..You can also try unplugging your modem and router, wait 1-3 minutes then plug the modem back in
    and wait for it to fully cycle up then plug your router in and try it again.

    Wired Network Not Detected

    You may want to check the ethernet cord by plugging it into something else. If it works fine with the cord, its an issue with your ethernet port on your xbox.

    If it doesn't work, try a different cable and/or port on your router.
