Not detecting hard drive after recent update

Hey there DeltaFox first they need to figure what caused this then try to fix it without removing features / creating any more bugs or core issues second once done they need to release it out for preview before the public gets it once the preview team provides
enough feedback which can take a few weeks they add it to a large update with other things they are patching and release it out to the public fixing not just that bug but other ones as well.

It's actually very complicated if you understand how to code and add file directory's but that's to complicated to explain so just please be patient thank you.

 

Is there still no update on when this will be resolved? It has now been 3 weeks and there is still nothing. what a joke.

 

Misses Quinzel will update you all on what is going on alright so please be patient it can be frustrating i understand but after this long i assume a big update will be released.

 

I hope so, I'm about to switch to play station. Xbox one has been a huge disappointment.

 

I had a post up about this since August 4th. Got the basic, "we are working on it" reply but no real answers. I have been told that this was a known issue in the preview program but was ignored for some reason. My fiance's hard drive stopped working thanks
to the wonderful summer update. A $150 hard drive that is now a paper weight and almost a month later no updates or patches to fix it, hell even no words on if the devs are even working on it. But they did patch in a way to turn off the ding when you shut
down your xbox. I am hoping for a fix by New Years but I am not holding my breath.

I wouldn't say that hardrives can store what ever if it is games then it is games, photos, files (Important information), programs etc it isn't useless.

I am not sure that the preview program even has this as a fix currently it is possible the devs / engineers don't know the cause and coding (a way to develop stuff such as updates / websites etc) is difficult and takes a lot of skill to read each an every
bit of it and they need to know what it is telling them.

It won't take that long since you mentioned it started on August 4th then they should be done by the end of this month lol.

 

Pretty sure we were told they were "patching" this already by designated Microsoft members.

The summer update broke it, it's easy to roll back the individual changes to find what caused it and revert to what it always has been.

And, my HDD, like the previous poster, is now nothing more than a paperweight, given it only has GAMES on it.
