Not connecting to wifi

hey,

My Xbox one is a few years old now. It won't connect wireless to my wifi anymore.

Is it just old and possibly knackered or are there any hints to try.

It has worked fine up until last few weeks..

Hey guys,

My Xbox One S is not connecting to the WiFi and when I go try to fix it, it still doesn't work. I enter a specific SSID, and even that doesn't work. It was working a few weeks ago (I've been in hospital and it worked before I went in) and now it seems to
have erased my wireless connection. I've listed it as it is, as you don't have a topic for my modem - if you're in the UK you will know it - PlusNet. I don't have any idea what it would come under. Sorry.

Any clue why this has happened?

 

Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps. If it does not then do a factory reset on the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to
redownload them.

If all else fails then the console may need to be sent in for repair unless you're fine with using an ethernet connection.
