Not connecting to live but connected to the internet

Hiya, this has been going on for a few weeks now but want to get it sorted.

Any updates needed it does no problem, Network test says all is fine so i was wondering if my gold had expired, but no.

Smartglass works, i can use the store and it let me download the crew although it wont let me play it. Seems to be keeping up with achievement progress but the xbox is showing less gamerscore.

I'm a little worried about whats happening with game saves now, are they safe? not all that tecnically minded where comupters are concerned.

Any help much appreciated and sorry if this has been asked many times

I have this problem since some weeks ago(sorry but I dunno to speak english very good bcs Im Romanian)and I dunno how to solve it.I use WI-FI connection.It worked just fine and one day it told me the message.I cant understand why it isnt working bcs my internet
works on other things(Tv I have a smart,PC,Phone etc.).I bought Battlefield 3 premium edition and I cant redeem the code even on pc!I dont want it to expire so pls help me!

Sorry to hear you are having a issue.

Please try these solutions:

1. Reset the Network Settings

• Go to Settings-->>System Settings-->>Network Settings-->>Select your Connection-->>Configure Network-->>Additional Settings tab-->>Restore to Factory Defaults
  

2.Clear System Cache

• Go to Settings-->>System Settings-->>Storage-->>Highlight but don't select your hard drive-->>Hit Y for Device Options-->>Clear System Cache-->>Yes to Perform Maintenance
  
• Do this 3 times

3. Power off the console

4. Unplug your Modem and Router for 3 minutes

5. Plug in the Modem and Router and let them boot up fully

6. Power on the console

 

Should add, I have logged out and back in with no success, not done the hard reset and worried about saves

 

Try this. Your saves will be fine if you have been playing online they will be saved in the cloud.

Log out of all profiles. Then remove your profile from the console. Perform an hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console
for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile log in and test to see if the problem is resolved.
