Not connecting issues

Hello, I hope this message finds you well, I am having a problem with my Xbox one s refusing to connect to my home wireless network. I am under the impression that an update failed to install properly which messed up the connectivity. But when I check the
OSU version it says it was installed properly. I am out of ideas of what is wrong with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for a proper answer. We have no DMZ on anymore, we have both checked multiple times that we are port forwarded and he's on wireless while I'm on wired (but we changed his to wired also, still didn't work). We have both also checked our connection
through the xbox live management thingo and we came up with we shouldn't have a problem with anything, showing our nat's open.

My internet is trash at around 5 Mbps when no one is on it, We have tried calling them for other issues but all other devices in the house connect to it. It might be the lack of speed but that couldn't be fixed if it was the issue, we have one company that
runs in this area and we are on the max limit already.

 

I 8 Mbps and Xbox live work to last update console.

 

It worked on Xbox Live for over a year for me and even playing online games sometimes on my one and 360. It has also installed updates normally (but slowly) and they have turned out to work normally. So I didn't have any foreknowledge of an update failing
to install fully. I have been trying to access the troubleshooting menu (hoping to instal the OSU via flash drive) by holding down the eject and sync button turning the console on but it has failed to work. At this point, I am out of ideas of what to try
other than send it in for repair for 100 plus and for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with it, and all they did was reinstall the updated OSU. Which would just be a waste of time and money for me.

 

You have reconnected with Xbox live ?

 

Same problem! I am so sick of high priced tech that doesn't work!! And when I try to turn it on manually, the controller won't allow me to choose anything.
