not connecting error 8b050008-00000000-00000000

I am getting this error code after attempting to sign-in to HBO Go and other apps. I continually have to sign-in. Not sure what's going on, but it's very frustrating. Ran the connection / XBOX Live tests and everything seems to be working fine ...

I am getting this same problem :

8b050008-00000000-00000000 - It shows this error code but this is not in the support database.

+ According to the system network tests, everything works. I am able to connect to my router, the internet, and xbox live.

+ I am able to sign in, however the xbox still thinks i am offline.

+ Doing a "Test Connection to Xbox Live" does not prompt me for a software update

+ After signing in, I am unable to use any apps, they all display the error "8b050008-00000000-00000000" Please try again later.

I have not seen any resolution to this, or any other threads with that error code. The xbox support site, finds nothing when I enter in this code.

Please advise.

Sorry to hear about the issue, let's see if we can get you sorted here. If you haven't yet, the first thing you'll want to try is a simple power cycle of your Xbox One console. This generally fixes most issues and sort of refreshes your console. If that
doesn't help, you'll want to try resetting your home network next. The combination of both of those should hopefully get you up and running again.
