Not connected to the internet when i am

it says i'm not online but i am me and my friend are trying to play dark souls and it tells me im offline it started doing this after i left dark souls open and went to youtube then when i switched back to it it said i was offline and i cant connect can
someone tell me how to fix this

Sorry to hear about the issues connecting in the Xbox App. Let's try a few things here.

1. 1. Make sure you're connected to a network and that you can access the Internet. To test your connection, go to Bing.com in your PC's browser.
2. 2. Sign in at Xbox.com and ensure that your account is in good standing.
3. 3. Check your PC's clock. The clock must match the Xbox Live servers for sign-in to be completed. Your date and time settings for Set time automatically must be set to On.
4. 4. As a final step, try removing the Microsoft account by going to Settings, selecting Accounts, and then selecting remove next to the account. Then re-add the account from the account picker when you sign in to the Xbox app.

Not Connected to the Internet.

I've been having problems with the Xbox app for the last 4-5 days. I try to sign in and the app tells me that I'm not connected to the internet, dispite the fact that I was at the time. I've attempted a log in about 20-30 times within the last few days and
it gives me the same message every single time: "You're not connected to the internet" I have double checked my internet connection time and time again, and everything is properly connected and I'm able to browse the internet, but I simply cannot get the Xbox
app to work.

 

Hey, joker9373! Sorry to see any issues with connections! When you back out of 360 games and launch up another app while on the Xbox One, that essentially closes the emulator for the 360 game. This will end up disconnecting it from the internet when you
do that. To make sure you're fully connected in the game after that, you will want to hit your Menu and View buttons on your controller to bring up the 360 Guide. If it's asking you to connect to Xbox Live, you will need to connect to Xbox Live in the emulator.
