not come messages to @mail

The issue isn't using messaging when I'm in front of my Xbox. Here's my situation:

My son has an Xbox at his mother's house, and for reasons that I won't expand on, the only way he can communicate with me is though Xbox messaging. When he messages me I would like to be able to view and reply from my mobile phone while not being connected
to a wireless network.

If there's a messaging app for Android that alerts and allows two way messaging with only having a 4G connection, that would be a solution.

Not your email, but if you have access to SmartGlass, interacting via LIVE messages is a breeze.

So just rang support again and was told the e-mail and messages were a "check up" e-mail. I said that the wording sounded VERY much like we were being TOLD something was wrong, but the guy I talked to told me to disregard the e-mail and messages. He also
said a lot of people have been calling in about it.

Come on Microsoft, we REALLY need a straight answer on this, it's just ridiculous.

If this message is coming from the Xbox itself, then you should be fine. I know when I got my new console, I had to input my e-mail address and password to access Live. Same with all the accounts on the console.

If the message is from your computer (xbox.com lookalike page, windows ID e-mail, etc) then I would be cautious.
