Not buying another xbox.....playstation now has my business for foreseeable future

Xbox one x boots up but get blank screen. Tried all troubleshooting steps and kept it going for a month or so now get blank screen; called support and out of warranty and they want to charge $250 to fix
[Mod Removed - see Guidelines]! Spent $500 on the darn thing and I am absolutely not going to pay another $250 when the new generation of consoles are almost here. Have had 5 xbox consoles and 3 playstation consoles including a ps4. I have
had two xbox consoles [Mod Removed - see Guidelines] but NEVER had a playstation
[Mod Removed - see Guidelines]on me.....looks like ps5 has my money. To bad I liked the X.

In regard to the situation about out of warranty repairs, here on the forums we lack the necessary tools to directly assist with any information regarding the status of your warranty or hardware issues and recommend you
contact Xbox Support by chat or phone regarding this.

If there are any other questions or concerns that you may have in the future, please create a new thread detailing your issue and any troubleshooting steps (if any) you’ve tried so far.

Just make sure to review the Guidelines before a Thread/Post is made so as to not violate the rules by mistake.

Sticking with my 360 and PS3 for the foreseeable future. Nothing next gen has really "grabbed" me or made me want to run out and buy next gen stuff.

the upgrade offer was great and the games that go through the Game Pass library are great. there is a lot there to keep any gamer busy for the foreseeable future

Its unlikely that it will happen in the foreseeable future i'm afraid due to politics and sanctions between the USA and Iran until such things are sorted Microsoft will be unable to do business in the region.

Thats what they said about kinect early on in its life cycle. Then E3 hit and you saw it wasnt real 1 to 1 tracking. Motion gaming is now and in the foreseeable future, just another gimmick.
