Not bringing VR to The Xbox One X is a joke.

Having watched last years E3 with Phil Spencer anouncing the Xbox One X "built specifically to lead the console industry into true 4K gaming and high-fidelity VR" and "the hardware would enable premiere VR experiences without sacrificing performance." I
bought a Scorpio edition and decided to wait as opposed to jumping ship and buying a PS4 Pro with VR etc. Now they have announced it isnt coming at all and Xbox gamers will have to wait until the next generation Xbox. Does anyone else feel they have been totally
mislead? If they had said this last year I would now be using VR on a PS4 Pro and have ditched Microsoft in a second. Even though the X is a better console, it is what is available on the console that matters to me, and not its over all specs. I can totally
understand the issues mentioned i.e. Microsoft wanting the VR headset wireless, meaning data transfer and battery issues but with VR being so readily available on the PC I cant understand why Microsoft wouldn't let gamers use a wired headset on the Xbox if
they choose to and next generation headsets to become available as and when. It pains me to say it but I feel Sony has outdone Microsoft in many ways over the last few years, mainly VR, releasing the Pro to coincide with VR and the exclusives promised on the
Xbox in my opinion dont really amount to much. I have one question for anyone who is willing to spend a moment and answer but what (apart from my GTA V Online account) is there to keep me with Microsoft and not selling it all and starting a fresh with Sony?

X box One X

I thought that VR was going to be a major feature of the Xbox One X (while it was still in development as "Project Scorpio"), but this is not the case... for now, at least.

Currently, there's no VR headsets, accessories, or support available on the Xbox One X. As far as I know, there
aren't any hints or plans on bringing VR to Xbox any time soon.

Is Microsoft's stance that is will not support Virtual Reality for XBOX ONE X official?

Many of us bought the XBOX One X system based on the fact Microsoft openly stated it would support VR. While I understand the money issues of profitability and support, given the limited number of XBOX One X systems sold, Microsoft has produced VR systems
for Windows 10 and since XBOX One X shares the same operating system baseline there shouldn't be any support issues. At a minimum why not let third party vendors support VR on the XBOX One X. If Microsoft is in fact taking the stance of not supporting VR
on the XBOX One X then I believe that it broke it's promise to it customers and should in fact provide some form of restitution.
