    My gold membership ended, I'm assuming cause I had an older card as my payment option, but when I put in my new card info and selected to buy a month it tells me "that's as many as you can have" "only a limited number of these are allowed on any one account"
    What does this mean?

    No error messages either. Just the link to automatically renew my Gold membership, despite being up to date.

    GOLD RENEWAL

    said that i have to renew my gold member ship, when i try to renew it it tells me that " sorry, thats as many as you can have. Only a limited number of these allowed on an account." so here I am on the main website trying to update my security information
    and it tells me i can access it in one month HELP. all i want to do is renew my Gold membership. this should not be such a process.

    Not Being allowed to renew my membership

    This usually indicates that you have a declined balance on that old card. The error messages your get is you xbox console telling you that your subscription is suspended and that you cannot purchase a new subscription due to that declined balance. I would
    recommend calling 1-800-469-9269 so the agent can tell how much and why, as well and get you caught up and playing. As customers, we can add a new payment option to the account, but we won't be able to transfer a declined balance from an old card to a new
    one. You can also use the live chat, that tends to be quicker.

    It could also mean that you have more than enough gold time on your account right now. Any one account can only stack 36 months of membership at a time.

    You can check how much membership you have currently at the following link

    I have the same problem but my card has money and is the only card I have been using it has money and everything

    This thread is almost two years old. You should start your own thread with your specific issue. However, you might want to contact phone support about this issue 800-469-9269.

    Just as a thought have you tried removing all payment options and then adding it back?

    Im having the same problem. I just got an Xbox One and I used the free 2 weeks I think it is and now im trying to resubscribed and it itsnt working.
