Not being able to text or reply 2 friends from friends list on Xbox one

I have the same issue as of last night. Messages on the app are greyed out when being sent and do not actually send. On the Xbox I receive a small triangle error message that the message was not delivered.

I have tried the above steps you listed and it did not solve my issue.

Party txt is working for me as another way to communicate.

Hoping party is working for you if you are have messaging issues.

We understand that the issue here consists of an inability to send messages to friends through your account within the Xbox app on your mobile devices.

This may seem simple, but has there been an attempt to try device troubleshooting such as uninstalling the Xbox app?

Another piece of troubleshooting here would be to reboot the phone.

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Now just for clarification, what kind of error are you getting when trying to send messages through your Xbox? What happens if you attempt to send a message through the Xbox App or online? Have you attempted
using the Xbox app mobile or on Windows?

Go ahead and follow these steps:

1. Sign in at
   account.live.com/reputationcheck.
2. Add your phone number, then select Send code.
3. Get the code from the text message sent to your phone, enter it on the webpage, and select
   Submit.
4. If you’re using your Xbox, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, then turn it on and sign back in. If you’re on a PC or mobile device, sign out of the Xbox app, then sign back in.

Many thanks for your reply and suggestions.

I tried them before and again just right now.

Unfortunately I don't have any other device or Xbox app. Only Xbox one.

I can txt all my friends except 2 of them.

Message is not being sent, no error, just status showing "Sending..." for ever.

I still receive their messages worrying what's going on and I can't reply.

I don't know why all in the sudden yesterday and for them only.
