    Not being able to record on Xbox Game bar.


    Hello, from the past few days the record screen option is greyed out for me in Xbox game bar. My pc supports recording on it but it has been greyed out for some reason. Attaching a screenshot for reference. Currently I am running the windows 11 home edition.

    Hello Anderson, on resting the mouse over the record button I just get the "Start Recording with the shortcut". Attached a screenshot for reference. No other recording app is active and I generally use it for recording Halo Infinite which is set to 1080p.

    I used to use gamebar for short recordings of my desktop previously which has also stopped working.

    good afternoon

    just rest your mouse over the recording button to see the reason, in general if another recording app is active it doesn't allow recording, if the games are in another resolution not supported by the app it also disables it, it doesn't record all games due to some limitations.
