Not being able to play xbox 360 game on xbox one

Discus and support Not being able to play xbox 360 game on xbox one in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I try to play a xbox 360 game in my xbox one but everytime I open the game it immediatly shuts down.     Not being able to play xbox 360 game on xbox one


    I try to play a xbox 360 game in my xbox one but everytime I open the game it immediatly shuts down. I have tried almost everything and it doesnt work

    Xbox one has no backwards compatibility so cannot play 360 games, and there is no way a 360 can play xbox one games,so no you will not be able to play between consoles.

    Going back to Xbox 360 games

    I'm getting an Xbox One and I'm keeping my Xbox 360 so I can still play the Xbox 360 games. Will I still be able to go back and play Xbox 360 games and earn achievements on them. Also I heard something about being able to log onto both systems at the same
    time. I don't know if that was a rumor or not.

    The Xbox One was released in 2013 and more games are being made for that console only and not the 360. So if their friends have upgraded to the One, they will no longer be able to play with those friends and there will be some games they won't be able to
    play on the 360. The 360 itself will still be working for a while though.

    As stated the Xbox One will not be backwards compatible.

    However they have made comments of maybe being able to play 360 games using the cloud. Probably through download. So your current 360 disks will not work on the Xbox One.

    No the Xbox One is not backwards compatible so you won't be able to play 360 games on it.

    As far as being online, if your online on Xbox One and have friends/family online on the 360, I believe you will be able to see them appearing on your Friends List, you will be able to send/receive messages from each other but you won't be able to go into Xbox
    LIVE Party Chat or play games together.
