Not being able to play any Xbox 360 on xbox one

Will you be able to play any Xbox or Xbox 360 games on the One?

Xbox one has no backwards compatibility so cannot play 360 games, and there is no way a 360 can play xbox one games,so no you will not be able to play between consoles.

I think you are on to something with the 360 game being the cause of the issue. I haven't been able to unlock achievements in any Xbox One game since playing the 360 game Vanquish.

This is the only variable I believe is contributing to the cause. My neighbors don't report any achievement issues, but I suspect they don't play Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One.

Are there any volunteers in the forums who want to test this theory for us? All you need to do is unlock an XBox 360 game achievement, then try to unlock an XBox One game achievement afterwards.

The Xbox One was released in 2013 and more games are being made for that console only and not the 360. So if their friends have upgraded to the One, they will no longer be able to play with those friends and there will be some games they won't be able to
play on the 360. The 360 itself will still be working for a while though.
